Principle:
The innovation is a two-layered sticker for beverage cans that is placed on top of the can for better visibility on shelves and improved hygiene.
- Visibility on the shelf is increased thanks to a new printing area added to the top of each can. Events, advertising, contests, QR codes… creativity knows no bounds!
- The can is protected from dust and bacteria that could settle on it during storage and transport, which reassures the consumer and enhances the brand image.

Competitive advantage and development stage:
Adding this layer to the cans does not modify the production line as it is applied at the end of the bottling line.
The cap is repositionable, for example to protect your drink in festive environments. It is also fully recyclable with the can.
Feasibility has been demonstrated and several industry players have shown interest in the invention. DrinkSafe is now looking to develop the technology industrially and bring it to market.
The invention is protected by a patent family filed in France and in major industrialized countries.
