Proposal and implementation of a strategy for the exploitation of the invention through licensing
An entrepreneur approached Brandon about an innovative process of circular economy.
First, we advised him to deal with the protection aspects of his technology. Our client therefore assigned this mission to our partner Brandon IP, patent and trademark attorneys.
Our client’s project was then to set up an industrial company to produce and commercialize the equipment.
After analyzing the context and in view of the required investments and constraints, we recommended the implementation of a licensing agreement with an industrial partner for the production, commercialization and maintenance being developed by our client.
This strategy resulted in a licensing agreement paid through an up-front fee and royalties.
Brandon Valorisation conducted all the negotiations up to and including the contract signing. Other actions are in progress in Europe.
