Last March, the Kantar BrandZ Top 50 France ranking of the most powerful brands was released. Without any surprise, the luxury brands come in top positions of the ranking. Louis Vuitton takes the first place, with an estimated brand value of US$102,177 million. It has maintained this position since 2018 thanks to its strong connection with its customers. The brand is particularly dynamic, with a positive evolution of its value of 72% compared to 2021.
Also on the podium, there are Hermès ($57,482 million), Chanel ($57,081 million). Dior and Cartier are also included in the Top 10 of the most valued French brands. The Health and Beauty sector is also well represented with the presence of L’Oréal Paris (4th position, $36,543 million), Lancôme and Garnier in the Top 10.
Among the brands with the strongest growth in value, there are, after Louis Vuitton, the brand Céline (+69%), Van Cleef & Arpels (+62%) and l’Occitane (+58%). It should be noted that brands such as Société Générale and Axa are also part of this ranking of the most dynamic brands.
According to Kantar, their commitment in the society (environment, employees, etc.) has an increasingly important place for the consumers in the constituent parts of brand value.
